We are proud to share that Arty, Digilent’s evaluation kit geared toward jumpstarting FPGA embedded design, has been honored by EDN as a Hot 100 Pick for 2015.
Find the original article by Susan Nordyk explaining the features and highlights of the new $99 development board here.
Arty is a ready-to-use development platform designed around the Artix-7 FPGA from Xilinx. It was designed specifically for use as a MicroBlaze Soft Processing System.
Adam Taylor wrote a series of blog posts using Arty and Microblaze earlier this year and I wrote a blog post to introduce this series. Since then, Adam has added several posts to the series at ADIUVO Engineering.
Please check out Adam’s blog series on Arty and take a peek at Getting Started With Arty, a hands-on post by Kaitlyn. Tell us what you think about Arty, share your comments with us here on the blog or in one of our social media venues: Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter or Instagram. And, of course, post your projects on our Project Vault! Tweet at us, or send a link to your project with Arty and you could be featured in an upcoming post on social media.
It’s a new year, so why not jump in and try something new with Arty!
Cheers!
