FPGA Accelerated Cloud Community Workshop

The evolution of cloud computing has brought with it increasingly stringent demands on hardware. However as cloud and high-performance computing applications continue to push the bounds of traditional CPUs, the need for FPGA accelerators to compliment the hardware increases.

To help address this shift, Xilinx FPGAs are now available on the Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) F1 instances. This will be expanded on at this years FPGA Accelerated Cloud Community Workshop, which will held June 2-8 at the InterContinental Los Angeles Downtown in California, USA.

The presenter wil be Parimal Patel, XUP Senior Systems Engineer and the topics covered will include FPGA based acceleration, development framework, platform, and use cases. The workshop will include demonstration and hands on Spencerian, so make sure to sign up today to get started with or brush up on your skills!

I love cross-discipline ideas and all of their integration into complete original systems. And I like things that do things.
