Do you want to know more about system-on-chip(SoC) integrated and FPGAs? Then we have a workshop to recommend! You can learn SoC FPGA design for free with the Digi-Key Continuing Education Center, which is offering an online, 5-day workshop entitled “Hands-On SoC FPGA Design” from July 20-24, 2015 . The workshop is taught by Warren Miller, who has more than 30 years of experience in electronics and in-depth experience of programmable devices (PLDs, FPGAs, MCUs, and ASICs) in industrial, networking, and consumer applications. He also holds several device patents.
Attendees will learn about SoC FPGA — what it is, how to use the design software, and see a primary example example powered by ZYBO (a Xilinx Zynq SoC platform). You can register the workshop at http://www.designnews.com/lecture-calendar.asp. The topic of each day is as follows:
Day 1: An Introduction to SoC FPGA
Day 2: Downloading, Installing, and Running Design Software
Day 3: A Simple Example Design
Day 4: Targeting the Development Board
Day 5: Processor and FPGA — The Full Flow
