Halloween Design Contest– Instructables & Digilent

At Digilent, we are huge fans of Instructables.com. Free, easy to use, and lots of inspiring projects… we think that it’s an amazing platform for people/students to share their projects with the world. Just take a look at our MakerSpace page at http://digilentinc.com/MakerSpace and you will see over 30 projects that have been created in the past 3 months. So what happens when you combine Instructables, Halloween, and people using Digilent products?

We have a Halloween contest!

When you put your project on Instructables, just link to the product page. Your Digilent product can be anything from FPGAs or a chipKIT board to a Pmod or cable.

The grand prize is $200 paid in cash. Six other winners will be able to win a ticket to Haunted Palouse, but that might only be feasible if you live nearby. We look forward to seeing all of your entries and the creative, spooky ways you use Digilent products!

If you aren’t able to post on instructables, but still have a cool Halloween project using our products– let us know on our Project Vault on our new forum. You won’t be able to win the main prizes, but we can make sure to send you a spooky treat.

Electronics make the world better.
Engineers change the world.
So more engineers that know how to design and create electronics?
That’s the kind of world I want to help create.
