LabVIEW Home Bundle is a specially licensed version of LabVIEW designed for at home and maker use that includes LabVIEW Full Development System, LabVIEW Control Design and Simulation Module, and the LabVIEW MathScript RT Module. While LabVIEW Home Bundle is an amazing deal, actually installing it can be quite an ordeal since you need to download a specific version that isn’t easily found on the National Instruments website. Luckily, I got my hands on a copy of LabVIEW Home Bundle and created this Instructable on how to install it. If you’re interested in LabVIEW Home Bundle, you may also be interested in the LabVIEW Physical Computing Kit, which contains LabVIEW Home Bundle and the chipKIT WF32.
If you have any questions about installing or using LabVIEW Home Bundle, feel free to leave a comment and/or check out the LabVIEW MakerHub Forums.
Below are some useful links for getting started with LabVIEW Programming.
If you’re interested in projects you can do with LabVIEW Home Bundle, check out my other Instructables where I use the chipKIT WF32 and LabVIEW MakerHub LINX to communicate between the WF32 and LabVIEW. See what projects you can create using LabVIEW, and if you have any that you would like to share feel free to post them on the Digilent forums project vault or on the LabVIEW MakerHub Forums.
