Join Us at the Design Automation Conference!

Join us as we head to beautiful Austin, Texas to attend the Design Automation Conference from June 18th-22nd! This year’s conference will cover hardware verification and we’re excited to return with new products to support your development and project needs. After attending the morning keynotes you can find us on the floor in booth #521 where we’ll be showing off two must-see projects.

The first project we’re bringing features the Digital Discovery, our newest instrumentation for debugging, visualizing, and simulating digital signals. We’ve paired this tool with the High Speed Adapter, which can be used to analyze digital signals operating up to 800 MS/s! When connected, the Digital Discovery can utilize the inputs and outputs for more advanced projects like our decoding VGA signals demo.

In this demo we will show you how we used the Digital Discovery to decode a VGA signal into an image. This can be a useful way to visual and debug your VGA project. Stop by our booth and learn how to recreate this demo on your own device using our game of Tic Tac Toe and the free WaveForms 2015 software!

Our second demo features one of our newest affordable embedded development boards, the Arty Z7-20, a ready-to-use development platform designed around the Zynq-7000™ AP SoC from Xilinx. This demo combines the Lucas-Kanade (LK) method and a GoPro Hero 3+ to run a video processing image that you can test. Try out this demo by jumping around and showing off your excitement for DAC 2017 and watch in amazement as our display captures your movement!

We hope you’re excited as we are as we prepare to share our newest demos. Make sure you don’t miss out on this opportunity to meet our newest embedded development boards and instrumentation tools as we eagerly await you in booth #521. Until then, let us know what you’re most excited about seeing at the annual Design Automation Conference in the comments below!
