We always want to get close to students, it’s one of our missions. So this year we decided to pay a visit to the student campus, and leave them a drawing… or three 🙂
We wanted the Digilent Contest logo to be seen inside the campus, so an idea began to emerge:
- We could use the laser projection from a previous contest project… but we were not sure if the project was still alive or repeatable.
- We could put a huge banner on one of the dorms… but who would have to ask for permission?
- We could do a big chalk drawing on the campus alley… why not?
So, we made a plan and a template to help us draw, then we printed out a huge contest logo paper.
Then, we cut its margins so we could mark the edges on the ground with chalk.
And the fun began:
First we needed to clean up the place…
Then we started marking the design:
Started coloring, with an enthusiastic attitude:
Aaaand… done! One down, two more to go! It’s getting colder and colder…
The other two went easier and faster, as we became experts. We don’t know if the reason was the exercise or the “encouragement” of the freezing temperatures.
Like what we did? Give it a share and enroll in the competition!
